Canciones de los últimos años de George en nuevo álbum

Bueno hace bastante tiempo que no entro al foro y queria compartirles esta noticia.
En los últimos días han aparecido una serie de informaciones que probablemente aparezca un nuevo álbum de George con material inédito incluso en vida George dijo que tenia material suficiente como para tres albumes mas llegando a bromear con el título del álbum el cual le habia puesto de nombre "Portrait of a Leg End" esto lo menciono en una entrevista para Timothy White de Billboard en 1998 alli menciono algunos titulos como Valentine Day (inédita) y Pisces Fish. Luego de su desaparición física apareció al año el álbum Brainwashed (2002) el cual tiene una serie de canciones que George trabajo desde los tiempos del Cloud Nine.

Entonces esto nos hace pensar que hay mucho mas material en espera.
Incluso hará unos años átras apareció una versión diferente del tema This Guitar (Can´t Keep from Crying) por Platinium Weird y circula un sampler de 1:40 aprox del tema Doing The Bonzo Dog que la canta George con Jim Capaldi.

GEORGE HARRISON: Late Beatle's unheard songs to be released.
Several previously unheard songs by George Harrison are set to be released. The late former Beatle had a large batch of unfinished tracks at the time of his death in 2001 and they will now be worked on by musician Jeff Lynne – who was a member of 80s super-group The Traveling Wilburys. A source said: “George half-finished loads of songs and often just forgot about them. There is probably an album’s worth of material. Jeff and George were very close and worked together a lot in the later period of George’s life. He’s the right man to work on the material.” Harrison’s widow Olivia said: “There are lots of tracks. Some are closer to completion than others and with those I’d ask for help.

Harrison's unheard song set to release

London, June 18 (PTI) A second posthumous album of former Beatles star George Harrison is all set to release after his friend Jeff Lynne reportedly agreed to complete the unfinished songs of the late star.
Harrison, who died in 2001, left behind a huge collection of incomplete songs and Electric Light Orchestra leader, Lynne, has reportedly agreed to work on the tracks at the request of Harrison's widow Olivia.

Lynne, a close friend of the late musician, appeared in his 1980s group The Travelling Wilburys and produced Harrison's final album, 'Brainwashed', which was released in 2002, a year after the death of the star.

"George half-finished loads of songs and often simply forgot about them. He amassed an enormous amount of material in the last few years of his life. It's likely there will be another album's worth," a source told British newspaper the Daily Express.

"Jeff and George were very close. It's felt that he is the right man to work on this material. Jeff is a close family friend and someone Olivia and Dhani trust. They are very protective over George's legacy," the source added. PTI

Son ya varios tópicos y noticias en la red que afirman una inminente producción de inéditos, que genial seria que se terminara lo que se tuviera que acabar y se lanzara lo que ya tiene forma, para el próximo año, aprovechando los cuarenta años del All things must pass, que marcan el inicio de la carrera solista vocal de George.
