A mis Verdaderos compañeros del foro les dejo las letras del mencionado album....

Tennessee 1975

America, America,
your heroes are alive,
your faded men and glory will survive.
The madness in your soul
supplies the all consuming fire.
Beneath your spreaded chestnut lies
A Streetcar Named Desire.

Tennessee, oh, Tennessee,
your southern mellowing,
music travelled far from New Orleans.
Slings and arrows mirrored
in the magic of your dreams.
Reflected echoed harmony
of the naked human beings.
Reflected echoed harmony
of the cold and lonely naked human beings.

From A Streetcar Named Desire
to Cat On A Hot Tin Roof.
From The Night Of The Iguana
to The Rose Tattoo.

America, America...

From The Glass Menagerie
to Summer And Smoke.
From The Fugitive Kind
to Sweet Bird Of Youth.

Tennessee, oh, Tennessee,
what you've shown to me,
your words like water pure and clear.
The sadness of your soul
reveals the music of the spheres.
Concealed behind your spirited mind,
your poet's love and fear.
Concealed behind your spirited mind,
your poet's love and fear.

You Saved My Soul 1980

When I was lonely and scared,
I nearly fell for a TV preacher
in a hotel room in Tokyo.
Wo oh, your true love saved me from that suicide,
because of all the things I'd die
along with you.

Remember the time,
I went to jump right out that apartment window
on the west side of town of old New York.
Wo oh, you saved me from that suicide,
because of all my foolish pride.
You saved my soul.

When I was lonely and scared,
I nearly fell for a TV preacher
in a hotel room in Tokyo.
Wo oh, your true love saved me from that suicide,
because of all the things I'd die
along with you.

Remember the time,
I went to jump right out that apartment window
on the west side of town of old New York.
Wo oh, you saved me from that suicide,
because of all my foolish pride.
Wanna thank you, thank you, thank you
for saving my soul with your true love.

Sally And Billy 1970

Sally was proud, never ran with the crowd,
independent and beautiful.
Oh, how beautiful!
Spends all her days in her bursting affairs,
drinking coffee and reading plays.
Oh, how beautiful!

Oh, my Sally,
Sally, now don't you cry.
Oh, how she cried,
wiping the tears from her eyes.
Heart running dry,
she's never satisfied.

Billy's her man and he sings in a band
on the road, doing one night stands.
Hell of a lucky man!
Spends all his time playing games with his mind,
chasing women and living high.
Hell of a lucky guy!

Oh, no, Billy,
Billy, now don't you cry.
Oh, how he cried,
hiding the tears in his eyes.
Heart running dry,
he's never satisfied.

Well it's too late now
to make it up somehow.
Too late now,
they missed the boat somehow.

Sally and Billy are over the hill,
neither one of them understands.
I guess they never will.
Both of them dreaming of what might have been,
hoping Jesus will intervene.
I guess that happens still.

Sally and Billy, don't cry.
Billy and Sally, don't cry...

Mirror, Mirror (On The Wall) 1977

Sometimes I look in the mirror
and nobody's there,
but I just keep on staring, staring,
oh, can it be, can it be, can it be?

Sometimes I look in the mirror
and nobody's there,
but I just keep on wondering, wondering,
no, is it me, is it me, is it me?

Feeling too small,
there on the wall,
I can't relieve all my pain.
Some stranger's eyes
put a spell on my mind,
over and over again.

Sometimes I look in the mirror
and nobody's there,
but I just keep on staring, staring,
oh, can it be, can it be, can it be?

My life will pass,
breaking the glass
I always cross in my brain.
Too many lies
facing me from behind,
over and over again.

The Happy Rishikesh Song 1980

All you need to do is to say this little word,
I know it sounds absurd, but it's true.
The magic's in the mantra,
will give you all the answers.
So swallow this, that's all you've gotta do.

Everything you need is here
and everything that's not here is not there.
And yet there's something missing
in this God Almighty plan.
Could it be you need a woman?

All you need to do is to say this little word,
I know it sounds absurd, but it's true.
The magic's in the mantra,
will give you all the answers.
So swallow this, that's all you've gotta do.

Take three times a day after every meal!

Now all you need to do is to say this little word,
I know it sounds absurd, but it's true.
The magic's in the mantra,
will give you all the answers.
So swallow this, that's all you've gotta do.

But still feel so suicidal, something is wrong.
Just can't live, something is wrong.
Oo ooh, something is wrong...

Serve Yourself 1980

You say you found Jesus and he's the only one.
You say you found Buddha sitting in the sun.
You say you found Mohammed bowing to the East.
You say you found Krishna dancing in the street.
Well there's too much cockamamie, too much cock-a-doodle-doo.
You know there's something missing in this God Almighty stew,
and it's your mother.

You say we came from monkeys or something weird like that.
You say the Garden of Eden is really where it's at.
You say we came in spaceships and maybe ran out of gas.
You say we came from nowhere and this too will pass.
Well wherever we all came from, we sure as hell are here.
And who on earth you cry for when the bogeyman is near?
Well it's your mother.

You got to serve yourself,
ain't nobody gonna do it for you.
You got to serve yourself,
ain't nobody gonna do it for you.
Well you may believe in devils, you may believe in lords,
but you know you're gonna have to serve yourself, honey.

You know that two is company and three's a family.
You need the tree of knowledge, a Holy Trinity.
You can't have one without the other as sure as night follows day.
That's the law of nature, it can't be any other way, honey.
Well you may believe in Mickey Mouse or even Donald Duck,
but who the hell you turn to when you really need a... oo ooh?

You got to serve yourself,
ain't nobody gonna do it for you.
You got to serve yourself,
ain't nobody gonna do it for you...

Now And Then 1979

I know it's true,
it's all because of you.
And if I make it through,
it's all because of you.

And now and then,
if we must start again,
well we will know for sure
that I love you.

I don't wanna lose you,
oh, no, no, no,
abuse you or confuse you,
oh, no, no, no, sweet darling.
But if you have to go away,
if you have to go,
well you'll be leaving that way.

Now and then
I miss you.
Oh, now and then
I hope you will return to me,
you will return to me.

I know it's true,
it's all because of you.
And if you go away,
I know, you can't stay.

Now and then
I miss you.
Oh, now and then
I hope you will return to me,
you will return to me.

Don't Be Afraid 1980

Don't be afraid,
it's just the wind and light.
Don't be afraid,
this house is very strange.
In the morning we'll be gone,
don't be afraid.

We'll watch the dawn till the sun comes up,
drinking coffee from our favorite cup.
Girl, you been good to me,
so don't be afraid tonight.

Don't be afraid,
it's just the cats at play.
Don't be afraid,
they do it night and day in their street.
They're gone by the morning,
so don't be afraid of me.

We'll dream around till the dawn comes up,
drinking coffee from our favorite cup.
Girl, you been good to me,
so don't be afraid tonight.

Don't be afraid,
don't be afraid...

Mr. Hyde, he's really gone away,
won't be back till next full moon,
so we can bill and spoon,
in June,
and croon...

Life Begins At Forty 1980

They say life begins at forty,
age is just a state of mind.
If all that's true, you know
that I've been dead for thirty-nine.

And if life begins at forty,
well I hope it ain't the same.
It's been tough enough without that stuff
I don't want to be born again.

Well I tried to sweep the slate clean
with a new broom everyday.
If that don't work, I'll jerk around
until my next birthday.

Oh, yeah, life begins at forty,
age is just a state of mind.
Well if all that's true, you know
that I've been dead for thirty-nine.

Sometimes I get the feeling
daylight has come too soon.
Hoping for something better,
howling at the moon.
Ow!

They say life begins at forty,
age is just a state of mind.
If all that's true, you know
that I've been dead for thirty-nine.

And if life begins at forty,
well I hope it ain't the same.
It's been tough enough without that stuff
I don't want to be born again.

Sometimes I get the feeling
daylight has come too soon.
Hoping for something better,
howling at the moon.

She Is A Friend Of Dorothy's 1976

Come to the underground,
sure know her way around.
TV pretty elegant,
art deco decadent.
Hot lips and no shame,
all fun and no game.

She is a friend of Dorothy's, ah!
She is a friend... oh!
A friend of Dorothy's, she shows it.
A friend of Dorothy's, I know it.
A friend of Dorothy's, who is she?
Whoever she is...

Queen of the discothèques,
sheik of arabesque.
French jeans and nasty boots,
red hair and yellow roots.
Frederick's of Hollywood,
Maid Marion and Robin Hood.

She is a friend of Dorothy's, ah!
She is a friend... oh!
A friend of Dorothy's, she shows it.
A friend of Dorothy's, I know it.
A friend of Dorothy's, who is she?
Whoever she is...

Trust in God and she will provide,
she'll keep you satisfied.
Oo ooh!
Oo ooh!

So long, baby!

She is a friend of Dorothy's, ah!
She is a friend... oh!
A friend of Dorothy's, she shows it.
A friend of Dorothy's, I know it.
A friend of Dorothy's, who is she?
Whoever she is...

Whatever Happened To... 1978

She's coming from nowhere.

Well she used to be an artist,
but she threw away the key,
got a job, you know, nine to five.
And the most peculiar people
hang around her every day,
bunch of slobs, you know the kind.

She's coming from nowhere,
keeps herself in the dark,
hides her head in a scarf,
got her books in the shop.

Whatever happened to
the woman we once knew?
The river's rising fast,
and if she hears me now,
trying to get a message somehow,
don't build a boat that doesn't last.

Well she used to be a swinger,
now the rope's around her neck,
such a shame, ain't that a shame?
And her mother was a lawyer,
taught her how to read a check,
you know the game, who's to blame?

She's coming from nowhere,
keeps herself in the dark,
hides her head in a scarf,
got her books in the shop.

Whatever happened to
the woman we once knew?
The river's rising fast,
and if she hears me now,
trying to get a message somehow,
don't build a boat that doesn't last.

She's coming from nowhere...

Help Me To Help Myself 1980

Well I tried so hard to stay alive,
but the angel of destruction
keeps on hounding me all around.
But I know, in my heart,
that we never really parted, oh, no.

They say the Lord helps those who help themselves,
so I'm asking this question
in the hope that you'll be kind,
'cause I know, deep inside,
I was never satisfied, oh, no.

Lord, help me.
Lord, help me now.
Please help me, Lord, yeah, yeah, yeah!
Help me to help myself,
help me to help myself.

Felicitaciones y gracias, amigo taxbluesman.

Saludos.
