01 Tennessee [take 1 a 4]

Imagen
Toma 4: piano/drum machine
"'Howling At The Moon' ",' Memories ', u otra que menciona May Pang :“' Popcorn”
[toma 1]
Tennessee, O Tennessee, what you've shown to me
Your words like water, pure and clear
The sadness of your soul reveals the music of this sphere
Conceal it behind your spirit mind, your poet's love and feel

take ?
Tennessee, O Tennessee, tell me what you see
Your words like water, pure and clear
The sadness of your soul reveals the music of this sphere
Conceal it behind your spirit mind, poetry of tears

America, America, your heroes are alive
Your faded men and glory will survive
The madness of your soul supplies the all-consuming fire
Beneath your spreaded chestnut lies A Street Car Named Desire

Tennessee, O Tennessee, your southern bell will ring
Music travelled far from New Orleans
Slings an arrowed mirror in the magic of your dreams
Reflected, echoed harmony of the naked human being
Reflected, echoed harmony of the cold and lonely, naked human being

[take 4]
Tennessee, O Tennessee, tell me what you see
Your words like water, pure and clear

Conceal it behind your spirit mind, the poetry of tears

América, América, your heroes are alive

The madness of your soul supplies the all-consuming fire
Beneath your spreaded chestnut lies the Street Car Named Desire

Tennesee, O Tennessee, your southern belle will ring
Music travelled far from New Orleans

1975 Everybody (Nobody talk me)

"The Green Eye of the Yellow Dog", escrito en 1911 por J. Milton Hayes, que dice:
"There's a one-eyed yellow idol to the north of Khatmandu",

05 Nobody talk me 3:34

Single cara B: O'Sanity: nº 5 (Estados Unidos) y nº 6 (Reino Unido)
ImagenImagen

Harry Nilsson.
La frase "Nobody told me there'd be days like these..." contrastaba con la original"My mother told me there'd be days like this".

Mama Said - Shirelles
Mama said there'll be days like this,
There'll be days like this Mama said
(Mama said, mama said)
Mama said there'll be days like this,
There'll be days like this my Mama said

1975 Sally And Billy

Sally y Billy no lloréis … Billy y Sally no lloréis
Sally y Billy no lloréis …Sally y Billy no lloréis

1976 Mucho Mungo

John Lennon: vocals, acoustic guitar

Mucho Mungo, cosa dulce,
La cosita más dulce, desde una quinceañera
C'est la, c'est la - c'est la vie
Navega al mañana, navega conmigo
I finished it once with Phil, but he [Nilsson] pointed out the bits he didn't like, which are exactly the bits that Phil wrote,
which I didn't like. I'll give you Mucho Mungo. This is a hit record.

1976 She Is A Friend Of Dorothy's

Ella es un travestido
John: "Okay, I try to keep me foot off the pedal"
Yoko: "Yeah, it may be clearer"
John: "Maybe I should play it higher up, you see"

Come to the underground Sure know her way around
TV pretty elegant Art deco decodent
Hot lips and no shame All fun and no game

She is a friend of Dorothy's
She is a friend of —
A friend of Dorothy's — she shows it
A friend of Dorothy's — I know it
A friend of Dorothy's — who is she?

Whoever she is Queen of the discotheques
Sheik of Arabesque French jeans and nasty boots
Red hair and yellow roots Frederics of Hollywood
Forty-second and bloody good

She is a friend of Dorothy's, ah
She is a friend indeed
A friend of Dorothy's — I know it
A friend of Dorothy's — she shows it it
A friend of Dorothy's — who is she?

Whoever she is Trust in God and she will provide
She'll keep you satisfied Oo-oo, oo-o-oo, oo-o-oo
Goodbye, so long baby Keep dancin'
She is a friend of Dorothy's, ah yes
She is a friend …

1977 I Don't Want To Lose You (Now and them)

No quiero perderte, oh no, no, no
Si te tienes marchar, vete, vete, vete, vete

No quiero perderte, oh no, no, no
Si te tienes marchar, vete, vete, vete, vete

1977 Free As A Bird

Ah...
A casa, Sano y a salvo

siempre me hizo sentir tan libre

1977 Whatever Happened To...? ¿Qué fue de ...

she threw away the key

When I was lonely and scared
I nearly fell for a TV preacher
In a hotel room in Tokyo
Only your true love saved me from that suicide
Because of all the things, I die along with you

1977 Mirror, Mirror (On The Wall) Toma 1

http://www.flickr.com/photos/the_first_ ... otostream/

"Hello hello hello. I do not know if there's a tape of this somewhere else from Tokyo, I do not remember.
But whatever it was, it went something like this, only on guitar. 'Mirror, Mirror (On the Wall)', take 1."

Hola hola hola.

A veces miro ...
A veces miro ...
"Toma uno, empecemos de nuevo."
A veces, yo. ..
"Empecemos otra vez"
A veces, yo. ..

(Jimi Hendrix: Room full of mirrors"
A veces miro en el espejo
Y no hay nadie allí
Pero yo solo sigo mirando y mirando
No, puede ser, ¿puede ser, puede ser?
Y entonces miro al espejo
Y no hay nadie
Pero yo solo sigo mirando y mirando
Y no, no soy yo, ¿soy yo, soy yo?

► Mostrar Spoiler
'When I Was Young And In My Prime'

'My Old Man's A Dustman' (número 1 en 1960 Lonnie Donegan)

'I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside' (Mark Sheridan)

'Leaning On A Lamp Post' (George Formby)

Demasiado jaleo, Demasiado jaleo

Demasiado jaleo, Demasiado jaleo

¡Cuidado Chaval, has hecho algo!

This here's a story 'bout the Rock Island line
Now the Rock Island line runs down the rail to New Orleans to somewhere or other
Or other or somewehere

Well, the Rock Island line, she's a mighty good road
The Rock Island line, she's the road to ride
Yeah, the Rock Island line, she's a mighty good road
And if you want to ride it, you can ride it like you find it
Get your ticket at the station of the Rock Island line

Pretty girl along the line at the station
Lots of pig irons, horses and pigs and you know, elephants and all that kinda crap
Pretty hard to pick up a little bit of speed, you got a little bit of steam

Yeah, the Rock Island line, she's a mighty good road
The Rock Island line, she's the road to ride
Yeah, the Rock Island line, she's a mighty good road
And if you want to ride it, got to ride it like you find it
Get your ticket at the station of the Rock Island line

A-B-C, W-X-Y-Z, the cat's in the cupboard and you don't see me

Well, the Rock Island line, she's a mighty good road
The Rock Island line, she's the road to ride
Yeah, the Rock Island line, she's a mighty good road
And if you want to ride it, got to ride it like you find it
Get your ticket at the station of the Rock Island line

Well pretty soon we come to a what you call it stuck in the middle of a railway line
And this guy wants to look at and see what we're carrying on, a bit like custom procedures

So I was telling' 'em I unload all the stuff:
I got sheep, I got pigs
I got sheep, I got horses
I got cows, I got all live stock, got all life stock
Got all live stock, yes sir
Nothing but meats

So he says OK boy you can go on through, so I just go on through
And we pick up a little more of steam and a little more of speed

I fooled ya, I fooled ya
I got pig iron, I got pig iron
I got all pig iron

Well, the Rock Island line, she's a mighty good road
The Rock Island line, she's the road to ride
Yeah, the Rock Island line, she's a mighty good road
And if you want to ride it, got to ride it like you find it
Get your ticket at the station of the Rock Island line

1978 Brown Eyed Handsome Man Get Back

Flying 'cross the desert in my TWA
I saw a woman walking 'cross the sand
She been en route thousand miles from Bombay
To meet a brown-eyed handsome man
A lot of trouble with a brown-eyed handsome man

Way back in history three-thousand years
Back ever since the world began
A whole lot of trouble, women shedding tears
About a brown-eyed handsome man
A lot of trouble with a brown-eyed handsome man

Milo's Venus was a pretty smart gal
She had the world in the palm of her hands
Something swells and her T-sock smells
To get a brown-eyed handsome man
A lot of trouble with a brown-eyed handsome man

Get back, get back
Get back to where you once belonged

Flying 'cross the desert in my TWA
I saw a woman walking across the sand
Three thousand miles en route to Bombay
To meet a brown-eyed handsome man
A lot of trouble with a brown-eyed handsome man

Way back in history three-thousand years
Back ever since the world began
There's been a whole lotta women just a-sheddin' tears
About a brown-eyed handsome man
A lot of trouble with a brown-eyed handsome man

Jo Jo was a man who works, he was in Texas and he wore a wooden leg
Go go, get back, go go, get back
Go go, get back, go go, get back
Go go, get back, go go

"Don't go away now, we'll be back in just a minute..."

1978 Beyond The Sea Blue Moon Young Love

... Do you remember when we were in the café on the left bank
You could not find your cartier, because it was on your little throat
You're not a little serious
Thank heaven for little pearls

Oh my God, it's so high up there
You know, you can't really do that yourself
You get yourself disease

La la la

Blue Moon, you left me standing alone
Without a dog, or a bone

They say for every boy and girl
There's just one love in this whole world
But I, aye aye aye aye
I found mine, boy, oh boy, I found mine, oh this is thrilling
Just one kiss from your sweet lips tells me
No one can ever split you p's, or q's, or African

Sh-bim-bomp-pa-bom, diddly-diddly-poo

Thank you, thank you, thank you, it's wonderful, thank you, thank you
No no, really really, next time — next time I'll wear pants

"A Friend of Dorothy's"

In the 1950s Dorothy Nelson (Brittany Murphy) joins the US Navy where she meets the Friends of Dorothy, a code name for a group of gay and lesbian sailors.
Nelson meets Billy (Jason Priestley), who takes her to an interracial nightclub that tolerates gay people.
However, the NCIS raids the nightclub, and Nelson is among those servicemembers who receive a Section 8 discharge for "sexual perversion."

1978 Satire 1, 2 y 3

Lord, take this make-up off of me
I said, lordy, lordy, lordy, take this make-up off of me
It's bad enough on the beach, but it's worse in the sea
Because I'm knocking on heaven's door
Because I'm looking for my ma
I said, ma, take these guns away from me
I said, ma, take these guns away from me
I got so thin now, they're dragging me down on my knees
Oh yeah, man — do you, Mr. Jones?
Now I've been here so long, I almost forgot my name
I said, Lord, I been here so long I almost forgot my name
But as long as I keep touring, I'll always be in the game
Fame, brain, shame, game, game, fame, fame
Well, thank you, Mr. Diddle, thank you Mr. Diddle."
The official Soviet newspaper said that temple members have protested the mindless arms race and the filthy war in Vietnam
and were persecuted and finally forced to seek refuge in another country
— wow, sounds like a ballad to me

Oh man, Bangkok, Thailand, has launched an air/sea-search for a fishing boat carrying some four hundred Vietnamese refugees,
the boat was towed back out to sea after arriving in Thailand, sources said because of a breakdown in communication

Oh Lord, the boat was towed into Thai waters by a German freighter and the Thai navy,
unaware that the refugees had been guaranteed a resettlement in West Germany,
took the boat out to sea after providing all passengers with provision
— wow, that's deep man

The Chinese newspapers have made the first reference to the country's curtain wall poster campaign according to vice-premier Deng Xiao-Ping,
and saying that the country's stable and its leaders are confident and been planting modernization programs
— oh, this should get me in the Village Voice

Deng gave his blessings to the campaign but he commented not all the opinions
of the masses are carefully thought out nor can we demand that they all be correct,
adding this is nothing terrible, it's bad enough, but it's not terrible

Former president Richard Nixon, on his second trip outside the United States since his resignation,
was a smiling handshaking politician again, greeting crowds outside his hotel and trying a little French,
he sure as hell didn't try it on Pat Nixon

Mr. Nixon is in Paris to sight-see and be interviewed on French television, before going on to deliver a speech in England,
he'll participate in the French call-in program and said he will answer questions in Welsh — that's pretty big, Mr. N

Oh, I'm so cynical I could just keep on doing this forever because, you know, they ain't gonna be looking in my golden bunions in a hundred years from now, they're gonna be selling my socks like Judy Garland, and I hope they get a good price, I mean, what with the inflation and the price of rice, but man, I shouldn't worry, I own all my own songs and I wrote them myself too

I got twenty-four children, fourteen wives, three mistresses, fifty-nine accountants, one-hundred and-five lawyers, two million fans, a posting system that never fails to land me in jail, and look through my mail, perhaps have a garage sale, and you know, go save the whale, and eh, you know, get a boat and go for a sail, and, and, oh, oh, oh, how do you get out of this hell, I'm stuck inside of a lexicon with the Roget's Thesaurus blues again — sometimes I wish I was just George Harrison, you know, got all the answers, oh my God, oh my God

Just a minute, I'm just getting my 'jamas"

I'd just like to leave you with this message
They say the best things in life are free
Except for own TV, heh-heh, heh-heh

Oh dirty Maggie Mae, they have taken her away
And she'll never walk down Lime Street anymore
Oh the judge he guilty found her
Of robbing the homeward bounder
That dirty no good robbing Maggie Mae

It's the part of Liverpool, port of Liverpool
Three pounds ten a week that was my pay
Oh, something down, in down on number nine
Down in Kelly's pawnshop number nine

Oh dirty Maggie Mae, they have taken her away
And she'll never walk down Lime Street anymore

1978 Falling In Love Again

► Mostrar Spoiler

1978 I'm A Man

When I was a little baby, age of five
I had something in my pocket, keep a lot of folks alive
And now I'm a man, age fifty-three
I can't get it up at all, I'm tied to a tree
Oh, oh, o-oh

I woke up this morning, went right back to sleep
I woke up this evening, couldn't find my feet
But now I'm a man, age twenty-one (po-po-pow)
And you know babe, we have lots and lots of fun

1979 I Don't Wanna Face It

Say you're looking for a place to go
Where nobody knows your name
Say you're looking for oblivion with
One eye on the Hall of Fame

I don't wanna face it, oh no
I don't wanna face it, no no no no
Well I can dish it out...
Dish it out
But I just can't take it

Say you're looking for a place to go
Where nobody knows your name
Say you're looking for oblivion with
One eye on the Hall of Fame

I don't wanna face it, oh no
I don't wanna face it, no no no no
Well I can dish it out
But I just can't take it

I don't wanna face it
All alone...

('Okay, let's go.

no quiero afrontarlo ah no
no quiero afrontarlo no no no no

Liderar una vieja gran banda (Johnny B. Good, Plastic Ono B.)

no quiero afrontarlo ah no
(no doy a basto.)

Siempre miras a otro lado

no quiero afrontarlo ah no
no quiero afrontarlo no no no no
Bien yo puedo ver la Tierra Prometida
¡Sé que puedo hacerlo!

no quiero afrontarlo, oh no
no quiero afrontarlo ah no
no quiero afrontarlo, oh no
no quiero afrontarlo

no quiero afrontarlo

no veo a nadie allí, wooh
