Raro...Salu2If you turn the starry name BEATLES upside down and mirror it you get a phone number - 537-1438. The story goes that if you phoned this number on Wednesday morning at 5 o'clock you'd get the message "You're getting closer" before the line went dead. If this number was phoned in London however, you'd get one of three responses. Either you would have called through to a funeral parlour, an angry lady who was tired of all the phone calls so early in the morning, or someone claiming to be Billy Shears who would quiz you on Beatle-trivia before promising to send you tickets to visit 'Pepperland'. It was reported in a Washington CD underground newspaper that 3 students from Mitchigan called through and got to Billy Shears and actually received the tickets to Pepperland in an envelope with the initials A.D.N. on it. There were instructions for the receiver to lick an enclosed stamp and to stick onto the envelope. Unfortunately these stamps were laced with LSD and one student, after licking one jumped from a window to his death. Another student claimed that he had already visited Pepper land in the Carribbean sea and was planning to return on the upcoming November 27th. The third student however, when queried, just laughed.
